Born and bred in Scotland, lead singer Debbie Boyd has added a selection of popular Scottish Ceilidh Dances to the band's more traditional function covers repertoire.
Whether you'd like just a taster Scottish Ceilidh dance to set the scene at the start of your night, with perhaps a few more ceilidh dances scattered throughout the more regular party music during the evening, or a full on Scottish Ceilidh 45 minute dance set, please do have a chat with Debbie about what the band can offer you. Don't worry if your guests don't know all the dances, Debbie will 'call' the dances and even provide demonstrations, if necessary!
Dances include: The Gay Gordons, Strip The Willow, Dashing White Sergeant, Eightsome Reel, St Bernard's Waltz, Military Two Step and we can, of course, include traditional Scottish anthems such as Auld Lang Syne and Flower of Scotland.
The band's standard instrumentation for the ceilidh material is: Drums, bass, guitar, keys/piano though additional players may be added. The maximum duration of the band's ceilidh set is 45 mins and the remainder of the live music would be selected from our regular playlist of popular floor filling pop/rock covers.

Scottish Ceilidh (RECORDED LIVE DURING AN EVENT)
"We just wanted to write to thank you so much for being such a huge part of our wedding day and for making it such a success. It was a pleasure to finally meet you and you were such a delight to work with. We thought the band was great and we have had many compliments! Well done on making the ceilidh such a success – not an easy task with so many people in such a small (hot) room! It was very much enjoyed by the Scottish and English alike, many of whom were a little nervous about ‘prancing about’ as they referred to it! We had the most amazing wedding day and thank you for helping to make it so personal. Much love Susannah & Nick Lee" (Scottish ceilidh wedding)
